ITSAS is an app that displays surf conditions (webcams, forecasts, tides) for spots in the Basque Country. We respect your privacy: the app does not create an account, does not request any personal information, and does not track your activity.
No personal data is collected. ITSAS does not request your name, email address, phone number, or access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location.
To work offline, the app locally stores on your device the most recent surf conditions retrieved (browser cache / localStorage). This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its cache.
To display conditions, ITSAS queries public sources:
These requests are issued from our server (proxy) for most sources, and do not transmit any identifiable information about you. The webcam stream may, in some cases, connect directly to Viewsurf from your device; in that case, the technical IP address is transmitted to Viewsurf, which applies its own privacy policy.
ITSAS contains no analytics tools, no advertising trackers, and no ads.
ITSAS is not specifically directed at children under 13 and does not collect any data concerning them.
